EAAC19 explored the theme “Empowered to Impact” based on the great commission in Mathew 28:19-20 and endowment of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples as demonstrated in Acts 1:8.
The talks centered on drawing the attention of the delegates to the emphatic position of the mandate in Mathew 28:19-20 and challenging them with the need to make their congregations missional.
While the theme of the conference had a general focus on Youth, the second day was dedicated to talks about reaching out to youth in the church and across the continent. Paul Kong and Nqobile Ngcobo, Youth and Context Coordinator Africa, led participants in fun engaging youth-centered activities and an experience Alpha session.
